Job Description Level 1 Computer Technician Company: A leading MSP company providing IT solutions based in Perth, is looking for a Level 1 Computer Technician with great communication skills. The Role: Provide first-line technical support to clients. Focuses on efficient ticket resolution, clear communication, and accurate documentation. Ideal candidate: organized, disciplined, proactive, customer-focused. Permanent, full-time. Skills: Essential : 3 years of experience in a computer technician/help desk role. Excellent written/verbal communication. Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, network on Windows). Proficient in installing/maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Ticketing system experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proactive and disciplined work approach. Valid driver's license. Desirable : 3CX experience. Remote support tool experience. Basic networking knowledge. Relevant IT certifications. Responsibilities: Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve support tickets. Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly. Escalate complex issues. Maintain accurate ticket records. Manage ticket queues and meet SLAs. Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Install/maintain PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals. Troubleshoot basic network connectivity. Provide remote support. Assist with basic server administration. Communication & Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients. Maintain a professional demeanor. Ensure client satisfaction. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed support records. Complete accurate timesheets. Contribute to knowledge base. Other Duties: Assist with other IT tasks.
