ASO7 Operations Manager - Infrastructure Master PlanApply now Job no: 892006Work type: Full timeLocation: Adelaide Metro SouthernCategories: Administration, Business and Management, Public Health, Project and Program ManagementSouthern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Finance & Corporate ServicesSalary $108,109 - $116,864 (Pro Rata) ASO7 | Full Time – up until Jan 2028We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Manager to join our Environment Services Team.The Infrastructure Branch, as part of the Corporate and System Support Services Division, supports the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) business units and the Local Health Networks (LHN).About the role:Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, this role is accountable for the operational coordination and support for practical and innovative facilities management and planning functions, particularly those associated with the Southern Redevelopment and Infrastructure Master Plan.Duties for the role will include:Ensure the effective management of human, financial and physical assets through appropriate planning and allocation of resources to achieve agreed Division/Service and strategic plans.Leading and/or contributing to the design, conduct and management of complex projects.Expert contribution to best practice Facilities Management planning, implementation and reporting across the agency, ensuring the continual achievement of team objectives and goals.Contributing to relevant departmental and AGFMA decision-making workgroups.Support a high-performance culture through setting clear goals, supporting innovation, defining responsibilities, collaborating, establishing two-way communication, and promoting integrity and trust.About you:Trade Qualifications, Electrical or Mechanical.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, organisational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, fostering confidence and mutual trust with clients, contractors, and staff at all levels.Proven ability to recognise problems, formulate and implement clear and effective solutions, and set priorities to achieve agreed outcomes, targets and initiatives.Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to a team of staff and function effectively as a manager within a semi-autonomous management framework.Demonstrated and extensive experience in the provision of effective and complete asset management services in a complex health organisation, including the provision of effective leadership and implementing change at all levels to a senior level.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.Application Closing Date: 11.55 pm Sunday 19 January 2025Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
