The Role
Portfolio Management Branch (PMB) has an exciting opportunity for an APS5 position within the Directorate of Prioritisation. The position requires you to have the ability to work in dynamic, fast paced environment and assist with a range of administrative duties. Although the role will specifically support one team, there is ample opportunity within the Branch to expand your knowledge and skillset across a variety of different areas within the PMB.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Coordination of incoming tasks such as committee taskings and reporting activities
* Branch committee planning and training
* Management of the team inbox
* Assisting in meeting and committee planning
* Providing business support to the Branch
* Assisting in data collection and reporting
About our Team
The Portfolio Management Branch sits within Group Operations Division in Defence Digital Group and has been established to strengthen performance across the Group by providing improved reporting and strategic insights to support data led decision making. The Portfolio Management Branch is responsible for prioritising and optimising resources, providing support and assurance to projects and programs and building a culture of trust, transparency and continuous improvement.
The Directorate of Prioritisation is responsible for the prioritisation of portfolio activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the Department and priorities of the Group. Within the Directorate of Prioritisation, attendance at governance forums and providing secretariat support of portfolio lead governance is required. Additionally, the Directorate of Prioritisation supports the PMB assisting in standing up and implementing new frameworks and agile ways of working across the Group.
