The Department of Health is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Regional Complex Care Coordinator - CYMHS (528731d) vacancy. This newly created role will support an identified cohort of young people and the people/services involved in their care. These children and young people who have complex mental health issues warrant specialist expertise to intervene as early as possible to change their life trajectory and bring about better quality of life outcomes.
Our Aim:
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated senior clinicians to provide clinical services to children, young people, and their families/significant others experiencing complex mental health concerns.
The role will include:
Being part of a dynamic and well-supported team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families/carers.
Providing specialist clinical coordination service that supports right place, right care principles, undertaking high-level assessments and developing an individual plan that includes bringing together the right mix of services across government and non-government agencies.
Promoting a positive working culture by developing effective partnerships and exceptional working relationships with all stakeholders.
Working with a diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed term full-time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve months.
Salary: $111,506 - $118,336 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post-graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
A minimum of 3 years current post-graduate experience in a field relevant to the position.
Holds, or is working towards, post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position.
