Key Responsibilities:
* Estimate costs for building reinstatement works at various sites.
* Interpret scope of works provided by consultants.
* Develop scope of works documents when required.
* Collaborate with supervisors to achieve set budgets.
* Foster relationships with key insurance personnel within the industry.
* Liaise with clients and insurers to ensure smooth communication.
* Coordinate access to properties with insured parties.
* Liaise with sub-contractors during the quotation stage.
* Maintain adherence to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements.
* Ensure all work meets relevant documentation and certification standards.
* Travel to Ballarat and surrounding areas as required.
Requirements:
* Building trade or construction qualification.
* Estimating or insurance building background ideal, but not essential.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to empathize with client needs.
* Capacity to manage multiple and competing priorities.
* Strong work ethic.
* Drive and energy.
* Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations, and current market rates/trades.
* Valid motor vehicle license.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
