An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Engineer with office and onsite experience who wants to start their Management and Leadership journey.
We pride ourselves on attention to detail and delivering on time, on budget outstanding projects. Because of this, you will need to be experienced and committed to continuing our success and reputation.
You will be responsible for the overall management of various fit out and refurb projects. Direct a team of CAs and contractors, enjoy challenges and problem solving, be able to relate to a diverse range of people and enjoy a varied and flexible work role.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
* Effective relationship management with all stakeholders including prospective and existing clients, suppliers, staff, contractors and others
* Provide effective direction and leadership to the Projects Team and site staff
* Manage all aspects of the projects from inception to completion
* Complete projects within time & budget constraints
* Manage any changes to scope, project variations and defects
* Manage all OH&S issues
* Conduct site visits as required and to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years experience in the commercial fit out industry
* Gained on the job knowledge of fitout and refurbishment projects ranging between $1m - $8m.
* Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
* Commitment to delivering absolute client satisfaction
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
* Detailed understanding of Australian Building Standards
* Commitment to OH&S practices and standards
* Strong time management & prioritising skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Outstanding attention to detail
