Job Title
We are seeking an experienced legal secretary to join our leading Competition team in Sydney as a Practice Administrator (PA) on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support services to Partners and Lawyers within our firm. Our Competition team is a high-profile practice with an outstanding market reputation, offering a friendly, positive team culture and a flexible, rewarding workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Partners and Lawyers with general administration, client management, system management, timesheets, and other ad hoc tasks to deliver exceptional service to clients.
* General accounts, reporting, and monthly billing, including client liaison.
* Coordinate with clients, counsel, consultants, and internal teams.
* Prepare presentations, documents, and similar materials.
* Manage files and matters, including conflict checking, matter opening, and closing.
* Manage telephones, email, electronic diaries, and voicemail for Partners and team members.
* Organize meetings and travel.
* Support the Clients and Markets team with events coordination and general business development initiatives.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal secretarial role supporting Partners or C-level executives.
* Show initiative and take responsibility for daily management tasks.
* Possess a positive, friendly, solution-focused mindset.
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have a flexible and collaborative approach to working with different stakeholders and their unique styles.
* Be organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
* Experience with billing processes, including using Aderant/CMS or similar financial software.
* Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
