What you'll be doing This Administrative Officer role supports clinical staff and clients in a Community Mental Health setting, providing high-level administrative assistance and excellent customer service. Acts as first point of contact via reception, phone, and email. Manages appointments, correspondence, and general enquiries. Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, and drafts minutes. Maintains filing and records following State Records guidelines. Assists with rostering, payroll entry, and office supply management. Adapts to new systems, prioritising tasks in a dynamic environment. Relevant qualifications in business, office administration and/or equivalent experience in similar office/administrative/customer service/reception roles. High level customer service skills, with a demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service and maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Demonstrated good computer literacy with Microsoft office suite products, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience in the use of computer hardware, various electronic administration systems and databases. Demonstrated excellent administrative and organisation skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated good ability to plan, prioritise and organise a wide range of administrative tasks in a high volume work environment and display time management and problem solving skills to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable, use initiative and work effectively without supervision as well as in collaboration with other staff members contributing to a well-functioning team.
