Develop & Lead Business development Strategies to enhance market presence and sales Your new company This Tasmanian Not-For-profit organisation provides services to the community. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. Your new role In this external facing role, you will be responsible for building the brand to expand this organisation's presence across Tasmania. As part of the team based in Hobart, the role will focus on expanding the provision of quality support, identifying new opportunities and developing pivotal partnerships. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for: Developing and executing a business development plan in collaboration with the wider business, focusing on expansion. Building the organisation's brand to drive growth in new clients. Continuously identifying, evaluating, and recommending sector and community trends which provide diversification of funding and expansion opportunities. Considering project and tender opportunities across sectors that align with the organisation's values and purpose. Leading expansion into new markets and service lines, contributing to increased market share and partnership development. Driving revenue growth, achieving and exceeding targets through new initiatives. What you'll need to succeed Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role. Strong negotiation, influencing and networking skills and an ability to identify and implement new business opportunities. Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex ideas to varied stakeholders. Collaborative approach to working. The ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check and a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Check.
