In short, the Library occupies a unique position at the very heart of our civil society.We are seeking a Digital Collections Project Analyst to work within the Digital Curation team to support the Library's involvement in a collaborative project with the Art Gallery of NSW, Australian Museum, and Sydney Opera House to pilot a shared, reusable, and scalable solution for digital preservation, storage, and access for digital collections.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have the following knowledge and experience:Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in information management and the management of born-digital collections.Applied knowledge of international standards and good practice relating to preservation of digital materials in a library or archive environment including metadata, file formats and technical specifications.Demonstrated experience in using and managing a digital preservation system and other software and hardware tools used in digital preservation activities for ongoing stewardship of born-digital collections.Experience implementing PREservation Metadata: Implementation Strategies (PREMIS) metadata standard for digital collections within a library or archive.#J-18808-Ljbffr
