Architects (Information & Communication Technology) This is a newly created, high-impact role in response to a strategic restructuring within the organisation.
The Senior Lead Architect will play a key part in establishing and driving the architecture function, aiming to standardise and streamline processes across a complex, global enterprise.
You will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology infrastructure and driving operational efficiency across the organisation.
Position Highlights: Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and execution of architecture strategies, aligning them with global standards and business objectives.
Team Oversight: Manage a small, expert team of Solution Architects, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery of strategies and roadmaps.
Standardisation & Innovation: Standardise products and services across IS Operations, balancing innovation with risk and constraints to deliver value.
Vendor & Cloud Oversight: Cultivate strong relationships with third-party vendors, providing direction and guidance on Cloud platform and infrastructure service proposals.
Clear Vision: Define the technology strategy for core operational services, including Infrastructure, Cloud, End-User Computing (EUC), Networking, and Service Management.
Required Experience: Proven track record in leading large-scale technology transformations, specifically in enterprise applications and services.
Extensive experience in standardising IT Service Management (ITSM) processes within a corporate, global context.
Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture principles and methodologies, including frameworks like TOGAF.
Industry-recognised qualifications in AWS and Azure, with deep experience in cloud technologies.
A successful history of infrastructure migrations, including experience in storage, networking, and cloud deployments.
At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams and engaging in high-level strategic technical discussions.
