ABOUT THE POSITION This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing team dedicated to delivering outstanding projects in the building space. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive cost management and advisory services, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, providing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and advising on value engineering and risk management. Your ability to build strong client relationships will be key as you deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that align with project goals. DUTIES Provide detailed cost advice and estimates tailored to specific projects Conduct trade take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) Manage variations and site valuations with precision Implement value management strategies and cost optimization initiatives Attend design meetings and maintain active communication with clients Prepare comprehensive cost reports and conduct financial reconciliations Perform feasibility studies and assess project viability Utilise industry leading software, including MS Office and CostX SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Membership in a recognized professional organisation (e.g., RICS, AIQS) 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the building sector Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying principles and construction practices In-depth knowledge of the latest industry methodologies and innovations Excellent verbal and written communication skills CULTURE The firm promotes a vibrant and flexible workplace that prioritises work-life balance.
