Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our team at Coffee Club Bacchus Marsh, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
* Manage and regulate temperatures for ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
* Assess food supply needs and coordinate orders for required ingredients.
* Supervise the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation.
* Accurately portion food, plate dishes, and add appropriate gravies, sauces, and garnishes.
* Safely store food in temperature-controlled environments to maintain freshness.
* Share expertise, demonstrate cooking techniques, and mentor new and existing kitchen staff.
* Educate and enforce hygiene and sanitation regulations within the kitchen.
* Accommodate individual dietary requirements.
Requirements
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
* At least one year of experience.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
