Role overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all site processing, maintenance, and CDS depots, ensuring efficient and effective production across all FOOTT sites. This role involves leading a team, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe and high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage safety across operations to ensure a safe workplace.
* Drive efficiencies and identify continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics.
* Implement cost reduction and cashflow initiatives to enhance business profitability.
* Complete management reports to assist with decision-making.
* Collaborate with the CDS Depot Site Supervisor to maintain and improve depot operations.
* Prepare and manage operational expenses and key reports.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Proven safety leadership with a commitment to workplace safety.
* Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Results-oriented with the ability to set and achieve aspirational targets.
* Experience in managing resources and work sites, with a preference for over 4 years of experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Project management experience is a plus.
* High School Certificate/Diploma, leadership/management experience, forklift license, and a valid Victorian Driver’s License.
Location: This is an onsite role is based in Shepparton, Northeast Victoria, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are regionally based in this area.
