The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of project controls, contractual, and administrative practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful commercial delivery of our Capital Works projects. This position would also be well-suited for a qualified Quantity Surveyor.Key Accountabilities:Prepare with the support of Consultant QS’s, project cost plans and budgets for proposed Capital Works at all stages of development (CN, SD, DD, CD, CA). Update cost plans as necessary to reflect design developments and advise on potential cost savings.Track budgets, commitments, and changes on all projects. Participate in Risk Management workshops and assist in monitoring and advising Senior Management on project contingencies expenditure.Prepare contractor final accounts to ensure settlement within committed project accounts. Advise on solutions where settlements exceed committed amounts.Support the Senior Commercial Manager and Group General Manager - Commercial in implementing new commercial processes within the DPM team. Undertake ad hoc commercial responsibilities as directed.About You:Graduate Tertiary Degree in Commerce, Business, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience in a relevant position within a Capital Works Development team (commercial/contract management).Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism and integrity.Strong analytical skills with a high degree of initiative and independence.What you can expect from usOn top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
