The Firm An esteemed top-tier law firm with a highly regarded Corporate M&A and Takeovers team is seeking a career-oriented Legal Assistant to join its Sydney office.Known for handling significant and complex matters in public and private M&A, the firm boasts a collaborative culture that values high standards and dedication.This inclusive team takes pride in balancing hard work with a supportive environment and organizes multiple industry events, such as the National M&A Conference, which garners substantial media coverage and client engagement.The Role This position offers a unique opportunity to support three Partners, including a renowned figure in M&A law who is highly active in client events and networking.Key responsibilities include:Diary and calendar management for multiple partners.Assisting with scheduling and travel arrangements, especially for client and industry events.Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and client presentations.Overseeing billing and financial reporting, including work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and monthly billing cycles.Supporting events and business development activities, including high-profile client dinners and conferences.Handling general administrative duties to ensure seamless operations across the team.The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in a busy corporate environment.Proven expertise in diary management, scheduling, and handling travel arrangements.Exceptional communication and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.The ability to handle billing processes, including WIPs and invoicing.Flexibility and resilience to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience supporting two or more partners, with strong skills in stakeholder management.Event support experience, as well as experience processing complex billing matters.A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on teamwork and relationship building.Candidates should be career-focused Legal Assistants, able to start in January / February 2025.This role is not suitable for students.Benefits This role offers a competitive package between $90,000 to $105,000, including:Paid overtime for occasional late hours.A vibrant, social team environment with opportunities for relationship building and professional development.A supportive and inclusive workplace with strong team camaraderie.Apply now or contact Kalinda Campbell at people2people recruitment for a confidential discussion: or .#J-18808-Ljbffr
