About the Role About the Role: Toll Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic commercial and finance team within the Aviation industry.
This role will provide essential support to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, helping drive the commercial and financial operations of the company.
You'll work closely with the Senior Commercial Lead/Commercial Analyst (or their delegate) and support the day-to-day operations of the commercial team.
Utilizing primarily SAP, along with other administrative tools, you will manage the tracking and processing of all administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage a shared Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely processing and communication Code invoices and follow up on internal approvals in line with Toll's delegation of authority Manage and process vendor invoices within the engineering system Address queries regarding vendor invoicing, general ledger coding, and approval preparation before processing by the Shared Services team Work closely with management and staff to raise or acquit purchase orders to support operations as needed Assist in preparing and presenting reports to management, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data using MS Office Monitor and collect data to support the broader Toll Aviation business Support the Commercial team with reconciliation tasks as required To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience in an accounting or finance role A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advantageous) Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Excellent administrative skills High attention to detail, strong numerical and literacy skills A strong customer service and delivery focus The ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional long-term growth within the aviation sector Supportive and dynamic work environment Exposure to an exciting and fast-paced industry What moves you?
