You will develop sound and pragmatic legal skills, commercial nous, and customer relationship management, all of which will equip you to become an outstanding in-house legal professional.You will be working with internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters, including the negotiation and preparation of procurement contracts with some of Australia's largest businesses.In addition to the above, the following are some of the typical day-to-day duties you will be required to undertake:Review of documents, issue-spotting and providing advice to senior staff where applicable.Assistance in and managing complex commercial negotiations.Working with senior team members to manage disputes.Draft and prepare documents.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.Researching changing areas of law which relate to the company.Filing and providing other administrative assistance as needed.This is a full time role.Who we are looking forYou will preferably be in your first, second or third year PAE, having completed a Bachelor of Laws.To be successful in the role you will need to bring with you strong technical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be a skilled communicator.You will be highly organised, have strong drafting skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport across multiple departments.An interest in corporate law, contracts, procurement and commercial matters will be viewed favourably.About our BenefitsNorthline offers an inclusive, flexible and diverse workplace.
