The Territory Executivec- Harvey Norman within the Partner Sales team plays the role of a sales account manager to our key retail Partner/s by driving optimum sales performance, influencing outcomes, driving a customer first mentality, and collaboratively working towards positive financial and customer growth results.
The role reports into the National Sales Manager and is required to establish firm relationships with store owners to drive the retention and growth of Optus customers aligning to sales performance criteria.
We're looking for a commercially minded, result oriented sales professional with proven business skills in sales mentoring, marketing, financial management and are an influencer to help achieve sales and revenue targets, implement corporate initiatives in line with partner and broader Optus objectives.
The day to day
1. Leading and championing the Optus Partners Business Plan ensuring appropriate engagement to deliver outstanding outcomes in all aspects of the plan
2. Proactively work with partners to lead performance and provide clear and specific feedback to ensure performance issues are resolved in a timely manner
3. Developing an impactful team with strong customer focus and building leadership capability within the business achieving sales and conversion targets in the territory
4. Adoption of Optus sales process to drive customer advocacy
5. Ensure our partners meets their regulatory compliance obligations including but not limited to AMTA, WHS
6. Implement detailed business plans at a store level with clear success metrics

7. Demonstrated experience in a telecommunications or consumer electronics-based environment
8. Proven track record on achieving financial targets and ability to lead teams to achieve results
9. Sound commercial and eye for business with consistent record in managing and working to a budget
10. Experience of selling sophisticated products and tailoring solutions to customer needs
11. Sales and account management experience
12. Confirmed skills demonstrating strong leadership at all levels including peers, senior management, and direct teams
