The Role Pembroke is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and suitably experienced individual to undertake the permanent part time role of Personal Assistant to the Curriculum Office. Reporting to the Dean of Studies and Dean of Learning Cultures and Innovation, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high level of confidential administrative assistance and support to ensure the effective operation of the Curriculum Office. Additionally, they will work with the Dean of Professional Growth and Development, Heads of Department and Faculty, staff, student and parents. This is a part time position working 37.5 hours per week 40 weeks a year, term time only (0.833 FTE). What will the role involve? Maintain and coordinate the calendars of the Dean of Studies and Dean of Learning Cultures and Innovation.Perform administrative duties as directed including but not limited to preparation and distribution of correspondence, data entry, photocopying, minute taking, preparing agenda's, booking travel, training courses and accommodation.Provide support for the Learning Leadership Team and other meetings.In conjunction with the Dean of Studies and Head of Departments, support the annual subject selection process.Provide administrative support for the professional development of teaching staff.Collate Middle School Awards nominations and assist with data extraction.Assist with the administration and coordination of student teachers and oversee payment claims. Demonstrated experience in a similar personal or executive assistant position.Demonstrated experience in providing a high level of proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders.Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage with young people.High level written, verbal and electronic communication skills, coupled with high attention to detail.Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise work and multi-task.Naturally collaborative, solutions-focused, positive and diplomatic approach.Recent experience in an administrative position in a School environment desirable.
