The Role Your duties in the role will include but not be limited to: - Manage and mentor a team of 4 HR professionals, fostering collaboration and ensuring team objectives are achieved. - Handle complex employee relations issues (you'll be overseeing an ER / IR Specialist), promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment laws. - Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies. - Manage enterprise agreements, and grievance processes with professionalism and compliance. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, ensuring company policies and practices remain compliant and practical. - Drive employee engagement, morale, and inclusivity, promoting a respectful and collaborative environment. About you You are an experienced HR professional with a proven track record in managing teams and driving HR operations in a blue-collar environment. Your hands-on approach, combined with strong leadership skills, enables you to effectively manage a team while supporting the broader business. To be successful in this role, you will have: - Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire an HR team, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals. - Experience working within a blue-collar or industrial environment, understanding the unique challenges and needs of this workforce. - Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, and policy implementation. - Strong communication and relationship-building abilities to effectively engage with employees, leaders, and stakeholders at all levels.
