About your role: As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you are responsible for completing substation maintenance and construction projects on the job site. The substations you will work in deal with voltages ranging from 11kV to 275kV and have a wide variety of plant and control systems. The Gladstone Substations Group look after maintenance and construction of an area as far west as Biloela down to Agnes Water. Being part of the team means you will be required to travel to these areas whenever the work requires it. About You: Critical to your success in this role is your: Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence. High Voltage experience either in switching or plant is preferred but not essential. Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs. Availability for call out and emergency work. Willingness to travel to surrounding areas to undertake work. Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
