About the RoleFinance Manager position commencing as a 3 - 6 month contract with potential to transition into a permanent role.This is a pivotal role managing the finance team and ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing monthly reporting, tax obligations, process improvement and contributing to the overall growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month end reporting Prepare monthly management reports and commentary on the results Maintain the GL and ensure compliance with accounting policies Manage cash flow reporting Oversee the preparation of BAS, FBT, PAYG, Payroll tax and Workers Comp Manage statutory reporting and compliance obligations Coordinate and manage the annual audit and tax preparation processes Mentor and develop direct reports Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process Assist with shareholder reporting Play a key role in several process improvement and system enhancement projects Skills and Experience Required CA/CPA Qualified Prior training in a Big 4 or Mid tier Chartered firm advantageous Strong technical accounting knowledge Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal Prior experience leading a team Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines Don't hesitate to apply!
