About the role
We are currently seeking and Executive Manager to lead and oversee our Western Operations team. As a leader, you will drive accountability and excellence while fostering trust and confidentiality within the team.
Your responsibilities will include managing operational budgets, meeting financial and operational targets, and providing regular reports on performance, budget, risks, and compliance. Key aspects of the role include translating strategic goals into actionable plans and guiding teams to achieve key objectives.
In this position, you'll employ an empowering leadership approach, providing coaching and mentoring to foster a culture of growth and effectiveness among team members. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you'll play a crucial role in implementing our organisation's operational strategy and exemplifying our values.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess substantial experience in the Housing and Homelessness sector, including collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities. Your expertise in people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement will be paramount. You will also possess:
* Qualifications in business management or significant leadership experience in community services.
* Proficiency in relevant legislation related to Housing, Homelessness, and Tenancy.
* Strong reporting and communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing risks effectively.
* Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
* Proven track record in mentoring teams to achieve quality outcomes.
* Ability to develop and execute plans to meet various targets effectively.
