This full-time, permanent role requires expertise in procurement, engineering, or manufacturing operations. You'll oversee category plans and supplier agreements, ensuring reliable and cost-effective services while meeting financial and performance targets through strong commercial acumen and stakeholder collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Category Strategy Development: Manage procurement strategies for Maintenance and Production Services, overseeing significant spending.Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations, production, and engineering teams to align procurement with service requirements.Procurement and Sourcing: Handle the procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations.Supplier Management: Foster key supplier relationships for performance, compliance, and improvement.Cost and Efficiency Optimisation: Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.Risk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.Sustainability and Innovation: Promote sustainable practices and drive service and technology innovations.Compliance and Governance: Adhere to legal, regulatory, and corporate standards, maintaining accurate records.Qualifications and Skills:Experience in Engineering or Manufacturing industries with a strong understanding of operational environments.Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.Proficiency in document, legal, and contract management.Comprehensive understanding of policy and governance requirements.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.This role is based near Henderson but you will be offered the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
