A BOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to develop and execute innovative brand strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and excellence in product development and communication. This is a Melbourne based, 17-month contract role with a strong view to becoming permanent.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Communication & Media Plan Development - Develop and execute media plans, partner with agencies to effectively reach target consumers, ensure high-quality creative execution, monitor performance across channels, and adhere to validation processes.
2. NPD Pipeline & Project Management- Drive innovation by identifying market gaps, developing and launching new products, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring project excellence and compliance.
3. Brand Performance Management -Monitor and analyse market trends, portfolio performance, and financials to optimize strategies and recommend improvements, while managing brand expenditure.
4. Presentations & Stakeholder management - Create and present key business presentations, foster strong agency and supplier relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and align with global/regional teams on strategic initiatives.
About You
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and passionate marketer to manage distinctive dairy brands that enhance consumers’ quality of life. With strong commercial acumen and a positive outlook, you will identify opportunities and drive brand performance. You will build and nurture strong working relationships and bring a genuine passion for the dairy products you manage.
Ideally you will have:
5. At least 4 years marketing experience (preferably FMCG)
6. Demonstrated understanding of consumer and customer behaviour
7. Ability to track brand performance and turn data into insights.
8. Proven track record of successful project management and cross functional collaboration
9. Proven success on NPD ideation and execution
10. Experience in communication campaign and media plan
11. Great attention to detail
12. Excellent communication and presentation skills
13. Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing or Business development preferred
