Job Overview:
As a Test Lead, you will be driving quality assurance across multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and reliability of new technology. You'll develop and execute test plans, lead testing activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with strong testing expertise, backend API knowledge, and data migration from on-prem legacy systems to cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with multiple development teams to understand product release scope and develop acceptance criteria based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level needs.
* Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for specific releases.
* Undertake testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing, for each release cycle.
* Report and track the resolution of issues identified during testing, ensuring timely fixes.
* Assist with issue triaging and develop comprehensive test reports.
* Lead a team of test analysts who are involved in function, regression, integration, UAT, business verification testing, and end-to-end testing.
* Mentor new team members and lead by example.
* Cross-skill team members across multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency using tools such as Test Automation, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
* Proven experience of working in an Agile team.
* Strong experience with Backend API testing/interface: REST, JSON, XML.
* Strong experience with standalone .Net applications and websites.
* Strong SQL querying ability.
