Job Title: Procurement & Logistics Officer Location: Adelaide, SAType of Role:Initially contract, then transitions to permanent.Rate: Up to $40.76 P/H About the RoleWe're seeking a motivated and detail-driven a Procurement & Logistics Officer.
This role combines procurement, logistics coordination, and project administration to support production, sales, and service activities.You'll be responsible for managing supply chain processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipping, and supporting project and finance teams to ensure smooth operations across the board.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute procurement activities in line with company policies and procedures.Support supplier selection with a focus on cost, reliability, and availability.Receive and manage goods for inventory and project requirements.Pick and kit materials for production and site work using BOMs and drawings.Maintain accurate inventory data in the ERP system.Coordinate domestic and international dispatch of parts and equipment.Prepare all required shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, labels).Maintain clean and well-organised storage and dispatch areas.Manage stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Generate procurement and inventory reports for internal stakeholders.Handle indirect purchasing (office supplies, rentals, facilities).Assist with project invoicing and cost posting in collaboration with finance.Provide general administrative support and manage document control.Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace in line with company HSE objectives.Key RelationshipsThis role works closely with the Manufacturing Manager and interfaces with internal teams including Production, Engineering, Business Development, and Support, as well as external suppliers and service providers.
What You'll BringEssential:Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, logistics, or related fields.Strong knowledge of purchasing and inventory control.Experience working with manufacturing and procurement software (ERP/MRP systems)Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Clear communication and effective negotiation skills.High attention to detail and a well-organised approach to work.Desirable:Experience in international procurement and logisticsPurchasing experience related to overseas procurement.Thorough understanding of Electrical, Electronic & Mechanical parts and associated part/drawing numbers & TDSInternational shipping experience.Please get in touch to learn more at ****** / 0423 544 554
