As Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of quality patient care, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, and delivering quality improvement initiatives within our medical ward.You will have the opportunity to work in an active leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, whilst working and collaborating within our multidisciplinary team.Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.Skills And ExperienceYou will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:Relevant registration with the AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 3 years in perioperative specialty as a Registered NurseAbility to work rotating rosterPost-graduate qualification, undertaking same or working towardsExcellent time management skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredExcellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills to ensure excellence in customer service is delivered.RemunerationOn offer is a base hourly rate of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
