Are you ready to make your mark in the world of engineering? We're on the lookout for skilled Crane Operators to join our dynamic team. Picture yourself on a 20:8-day shift roster, flying in and out from Perth to Karratha, and immersing yourself in the heart of this monumental project.
As a part of the Perdaman Project Ceres, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, contributing to the development of a state-of-the-art urea plant boasting a colossal capacity of 2.14 million tons per annum. From engineering prowess to construction excellence, the scope also includes EPC for all civils, urea handling and storage, and the setup of loading and unloading facilities, plus a water treatment plant and a robust power plant exceeding 100MW. There’s no shortage of challenges and rewards awaiting you.
Who you are:
A Crane Operator with experience in:
1. Managing inbound freight, logistics, laydown, material transport
2. Experience operating Franners and lifting 60 to 80 tonne
3. Demonstrated experience working in collaboration with construction teams, engineers, and supervisors to move and position heavy materials, equipment, and structures.
Your role will include:
1. Minimum 5 years operator experience in a similar role
2. Responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile crane equipment at construction sites, where heavy lifting is required.
3. Maintain mobile plant safe working conditions
4. Conduct daily pre-start inspections
5. Reporting of faults and anomalies with mobile machinery and equipment which require adjustment, maintenance or further investigation to ensure continued safe and efficient operation
6. Adherence to established OH&S policy and procedures.
7. Ensure a safe and efficient operation of machinery at all times.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
What you will bring to the team / Qualifications (Mandatory):
1. Current Australian Driver’s License
2. C6 - Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 60T
3. C1 - Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 100T
4. Franner, Dogman/Rigger tickets
5. Construction White/Blue Card
6. EWP, Working at Heights tickets.
7. Bridge Crane, Slinging/Rigging
8. Pick and Carry Cranes
9. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
10. Full Working Rights in Australia
