Section Coordinator – APS 412 month labour hire contract No security clearance required OverviewOur Federal Government client is seeking a Section Coordinator at the APS 4 level who will provide high level administrative support to the Chief Research Office.The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously, including complex administrative, financial and secretariat support, to achieve section and agency goals.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide high level administrative support to the Chief Research Officer and other members of the Chief Research Office including Executive Directors and the Executive Officer Manage finances for the section, including credit card reconciliations, payment of invoices, purchase orders, financial reports Making travel arrangements for the Chief Research Officer and Executive Directors, using the APS travel booking system and in line with the Travel Policy Provide secretariat support for the Chief Research Office and multiple external committees, including coordinating and preparing committee papers and agendas and organising meetings Skills & ExperiencePossess excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate tasks effectively and prioritise in order of importance Have sound judgement, integrity and discretion, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including a highly professional manner when interacting with stakeholders This opportunity is within the Australian Public Service.
