Do work that mattersThe Treasury Business Change Team has the responsibility to ensure that any change initiatives affecting Treasury are effectively delivered.
This is achieved by embedding a strong governance and structured framework to deliver sustainable business change and projects with strategic outcomes from a system and operating model perspective.The Role:We have 2 exciting opportunities and previous Treasury experience is essential - as a Senior Business Analyst you will be required to:Assess and document the Current and Future states of business functions and processes to identify and recommend improvementsSupport the project delivery / scrum team to break down work and translate requirements into functional specifications using appropriate methods (e.g., backlog creation, user stories, user journey mapping, etc.
)Identify relevant stakeholders, select appropriate techniques and processes to derive and manage requirementsLead requirements elicitation, including workshops to capture user stories.
Constructively challenge stated user stories/requirementsArticulate User stories and communicate business and customer value to the project delivery/scrum team.
Help establish success criteriaDefine problems and opportunitiesPerform data analysis that can be used to support or challenge business initiatives; and achieve desired customer outcomesWork with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and their operating environment to define clear problem statementsWe are seeking people who:MUST - Have industry experience and understanding of Balance sheet and Treasury OperationsHave knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulationsCan lead and drive a culture where quality, excellence, and openness are championedConstantly think outside the box and break boundaries to solve complex data problemsStay up-to-date with emerging changes in financial systemsAre enthusiastic, able to contribute and learn from wider talent in the teamHave a natural drive to educate, communicate, and coordinate with different internal stakeholdersTechnical skills:We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.Experience with converting business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architectureEffective presentation skills and stakeholder managementAb initio background is regardedStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality check mechanisms, and reportingExperience in handling large volumes of dataExperience in writing complex queries in Oracle and MSSQLExperience in working in Agile teams, including working closely with internal business stakeholders
