What’s the role?
13. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally safe podiatry services to Central Australia.
14. Provide community-centered foot care services to Congress clients, including management of diabetes-related food complications.
15. Help to develop and implement culturally responsive podiatric service, including a community-based high risk foot clinic, outreach to remote communities and a highly regarded regional on-call telehealth service.

16. Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry
17. Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration
18. Experience in management of the high-risk foot
19. Stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate in (written and oral) at a high level, form positive working relationships, adapt to audience, problem solve and manage conflicts;
20. Understanding or knowledge of the wider allied health workforce
21. Understanding of the complexities of service delivery to remote Aboriginal communities
22. Ability to travel to and work in remote locations up to a week at a time, including travel on light aircraft. 7
23. Current NT driver’s licence or ability to obtain.
Graduate Podiatrists will practice within their scope and receive ongoing supervision from senior podiatrists.
Outreach services and regular overnight travel to remote communities are inherent requirements of the position.
