About the Role:
Assisting the organisation with identifying current business requirements, optimisation and further roll-out of hospital application and infrastructure systems to increase business efficiency
Provide specialist level 3 support for hospital technology applications and systems
Implement new releases of software and infrastructure, as well as configuration and testing of the application and systems
Monitor and report upon the performance of applications and systems
Identify risks and issues about the use of applications within the organisation
Support and BAU as an escalation at level 3. 50/50 BAU and projects
Delivering the best logical outcomes for customers and systems in response to troubleshooting
Resolving system and software application issues with Wintel, infrastructure systems and applications
Produce, evaluate, and maintain sets of documents that reflect the business processes within the hospital
Essential Criteria:
Must have senior experience in a minimum of 3 of the following: Windows Server and workstation and some Linux, VMWare, Citrix, O365, AWS, Networking
Experience utilising debugging tools such as WinDbg, Wireshark, iPerf, Perfmon and Procmon
Advanced Active Directory diagnostic and management abilities
ADFS and MS Entra ID optimisation
Ability to communicate with influence and collaborate within a team
Proven ability to make decisions and be confident in a level 3 position, including directing issues resolution in a timely and structured manner
The ability to work independently; to take initiative and ownership of assigned work
Excellent orderliness and prioritisation abilities
Strong knowledge of Office & Office 365 general business applications
Expertise working with infrastructure, disk partitioning, and new image deployment troubleshooting infrastructure and Storage
Business infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting
Must have STRONG PowerShell and VB scripting
Desirable Criteria:
Certified in AWS, M365, Windows, Networking, VMWare
Level 3 experience dealing with Linux, M365, AWS, VMWare, Dell EMC, Commvault Backups, Networking, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, N-Central
Previous project experience and an understanding of project management methodology e.g. ITIL, PMP or PRINCE2
Technical knowledge of database concepts and SQL
Prior work experience in Healthcare industry
