This will be a hands-on, fast-paced role in a culture that rewards initiative and great ideas.What You Will Be DoingDevelopment and evolve our private brand packaging style guidelines providing new visual conceptsManage all private brand packaging style guides ensuring they are adhered to by the Merchandise buying teamsEnsure the briefing process and spec packaging are complete for all development and production for our private brandsWork closely with the Buyers/GSO/key Vendors to ensure all private branded packaging is signed off and meets compliance standardsCreate and manage brand packaging photography guidelinesAbout YouYou will have 2-5+ years of experience in high volume commercial graphic design packaging development with an inhouse or agency environmentExperience with end-to-end process of packaging development and brand packaging style guidelines preferably in categories of Home Interiors and/or FMCG retailersExperience in collaboration with multiple merchandise teams and key stakeholders on creating/or evolving brand/packaging conceptsAbility to support the design team in graphic design output across the key categories of Home Interiors and DIY when requiredComprehensive understanding of Homewares and DIY trendsSolid understanding of print production, techniques and finishingStrong time management skills and can work to meet deadlines, structured work approach, focused on speed to market, attention to detail, resilient and adaptable, team playerStrong understanding of quality and compliance standardsA strong working knowledge on Adobe Illustrator CS/Photoshop/Indesign (CAD software) and other relevant toolsWhat’s In It For You?Along with the incredible career growth opportunity of being part of this brand-new team, we can offer you:Great salary base + Superannuation + Profit ShareCareer progression & personal developmentA culture that rewards initiative and creativityCentrally located office, close to south Melbourne market, for when we return to workBenefits- team discount, EAP, gym discounts and moreHybrid role with work flexibilityTo apply, please complete our online application form and submit an up-to-date resume.
