What’s the role?
8. Contribute to the effective management of patient care plan systems, including participating in patient care conferences, managing patient follow-up procedures.
9. Use patient information system (Communicare/PCIS) to identify care needs and document patient consultation in patient’s medical file.
10. Assist Doctors and other health professionals with communication, treatment and any advice relevant to a client’s treatment.
11. Assist in the provision of high quality emergency care that at times is independent but with support from other health professionals.
12. Actively encourage client/family/community to engage in practices conducive to optimising health.

13. Current AHPRA registration
14. More than five years’ experience Clinical Nursing Practice.
15. Current National Police Certificate (no less than 3 months from issue date)
16. Current Northern Territory Driver’s Licence
17. Current Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card)
What’s it like living in Katherine?
This unique opportunity is in the town of Katherine which is approximately 300km south of Darwin. Katherine is a well-equipped regional town with a shopping centre that features a supermarket and many specialty shops. With a population of around 11,000, the population of the region is just over 24,000 people, of which 60% identify as Indigenous. Katherine is on the edge of Kakadu National Park which is filled with some of the world’s best waterfalls and bush walks. Katherine itself is a region full of gorges and misty waterfalls, hot springs and ancient cultures.
