About the role: We're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
You'll collaborate closely with our Finance Managers, oversee the external audit process, and provide essential support to our team of Financial Accountants.
What you'll be doing: Maintain the accuracy of the General Ledger and manage balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts, including leases, receivables, and staff costs.
Ensure monthly journals are posted accurately and on time.
Collaborate with teams across Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Capex, and external service providers.
Assist in producing month-end results, quarterly financial accounts, and year-end statutory reports.
Implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Apply accounting standards to our commercial activities and support various projects as needed.
What you'll bring: Chartered accountant qualification or equivalent.
Experience with Australian accounting standards and ERP systems.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with IFRS statutory reports.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
