This is a great opportunity for multiple APS6 Policy officers to join this busy team for a long term 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
* Leading research and analysis to develop policy.
* Preparing and coordinating policy advice.
* Drafting policy, strategy, project, and corporate documents.
* Managing policy projects.
* Identifying and addressing reform and project risks.
* Initiating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
* Participating in co-design, workshops, and forums.
About you:
* You will have experience working in a policy role previously, and have an understanding of the policy development process.
* You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ideally you will have experience working in a government setting – local, state or federal
* You will have high attention to detail
* You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels
* You will have previous stakeholder engagement experience
Benefits:
* ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
* 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension
* Full time hours Monday to Friday
* Geelong, Richmond, Surry Hills and Brisbane + hybrid working from home options.
* $60.26 per hour + Super
