Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager of Australia & NZ, the successful person will play a pivotal role in supporting customers, agents, and our dynamic sales team, consisting of Account Managers and Technical Sales Specialists in the Process Automation department.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Provide technical quotations, preliminary designs (drawings) to demonstrate the solutions to the customer
2. Provide delivery schedules, order entry and assisting with inquires over the phone (customer calls) and through email
3. Engage with customers to understand their specific requirements and offer suitable solutions
4. Collaborate with various teams, such as but not limited to the Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Logistics functions
5. Utilize various tools such as the companies MRP system (MOVEX/M3) for Order Entry and Manufacturing Scheduling, EDM (Document Management), AutoCAD, CRM (Siebel) and Microsoft Office
Role Requirements:
6. Degree/Diploma in Electrical engineering or its equivalent
7. Expertise in utilizing engineering drawing package, preferably AutoCad
8. Knowledge of power distribution and motor control will be highly regarded
9. Possess professional work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment, where good and timely communication with customers is of paramount importance
10. Knowledge and exposure to various MRP and CRM software as well as Microsoft Office
