We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of Digital Marketplace 2.0, a cutting-edge procurement platform designed to streamline engagement between government and industry users. This role is pivotal in shaping the product strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader Digital Sourcing Branch's strategic vision, and delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
As the Product Manager, you will drive innovation, oversee the product and services portfolio, and manage the product life cycle to meet evolving user needs. You will play a crucial role in simplifying and accelerating the procurement process, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy for Digital Marketplace 2.0. Ensure the platform aligns with strategic objectives and delivers user satisfaction and business value. Oversee the product and services portfolio, ensuring continuous improvement and customer-focused outcomes. Prioritise product requirements and design enhancements based on market insights, user feedback, and industry best practices. Manage product roadmaps and maintain the product backlog to optimise feature development. Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities for innovation. Establish and maintain a product life cycle management framework. Champion product management principles and foster best practices in product development. Drive the creation of new products and services that address emerging needs and market opportunities. About the Team:
This role sits within the Sourcing Platforms Team as part of the Digital Sourcing Branch. You will work closely with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary Agile team, including Scrum Masters, service designers, business SMEs, and delivery managers, to ensure best-practice design and development of the BuyICT platform.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in product management within digital platforms, procurement, or technology-driven environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product roadmaps, and backlog management. Experience in leading end-to-end product life cycle management. Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, innovation, and user-focused solutions. Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret market research and user data.
