Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership, driving performance and ensuring the effective execution of both planned & breakdown maintenance tasks.
About The Role
Lead the team that maintains the Operation's fleet of Komatsu haul trucks, large wheel loaders and ancillary mining equipment.
Drive continuous business improvement and quality assurance of maintenance performance using your excellent problem-solving skills.
You will bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to challenge the status quo.
Supervise maintenance activities for the North Workshop team, ensuring all work is completed as scheduled to quality and safety standards whilst maintaining maintenance systems and ensuring integrity of recorded data.
Offer your team coaching and support to drive high performance by leveraging your previous leadership experience.
Be accountable for advising a team of maintainers to achieve agreed maintenance goals.
You will also provide a high level of support to the North Workshop Mobile Coordinator to ensure the overall mine plan is achieved within deadlines.
Maintain a safe workplace, providing visible leadership and coordinating the Mobile Maintenance team to achieve agreed KPI's.
Exhibit effective planning and negotiation skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in completing detailed analysis of equipment failures identifying improvement opportunities.

You are an engaging and enthusiastic leader, inspired by driving a high-performance culture through setting clear expectations, strong engagement with your team and recognising success.
Offer your team coaching and support to drive high performance by leveraging your previous leadership experience.
Completion of frontline leadership or specific maintenance leadership competencies will be highly regarded.
Trade level qualifications in mechanical or electrical field, combined with open cut mining experience are essential.
Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role and/or engineering qualifications are highly advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy.
Experience with the fundamentals of Asset Management and proficiency using SAP is desirable.
