Qualifications: AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in automation or manufacturing industry preferred but not essential. Experience in workshop machine operations (Manual or CNC) not required but desirable Previous experience with welding and cutting machine operation is highly beneficial ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Machine assembly, testing, commissioning and installation studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines may erect machines and equipment on-site PERSONAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Proven ability to work independently and with others in a vibrant, team-orientated environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience, with the ability to accurately and effectively convey information to clients at all levels Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and build relationships cross-culturally and at all levels, and rapidly establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders Self-motivated with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritise workloads with competing demands Strong work ethic with prioritisation, time-management and deadline achievement skills Willingness and ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment including technological changes Be able to work with minimal supervision.
