Exciting opportunity to join Stockland’s market-leading internal construction arm operating within QLD, Halcyon Construction Queensland. We're seeking a proficient Accounts Payable Officer to strengthen our Construction Team. This role is based at our office in Hope Island on the Gold Coast.
About the role
Your role will involve efficiently processing creditors' and subcontractors' invoices in Databuild to meet organisational standards, uphold exceptional customer service, and achieve targets aligned with our business objectives. As a valued team member, you will contribute to delivering accounts payable services for the LLC Construction division.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of the key responsibilities will include:
1. Processing creditors' and subcontractors' invoices from PDF email into Ezyscan
2. Workflowing the scanned invoices for approval.
3. Workflowing PO to Invoice exceptions.
4. Assisting with verifying and investigating discrepancies.
5. Loading approved Invoice files into Databuild.
6. Preparing AP payments for release to Bank.
7. Collaborating with the Construction team, Creditors, and subcontractors.
8. Providing efficient and timely service to both internal and external stakeholders.
9. Working collaboratively within a team environment.
10. Completing other projects and tasks, as necessary.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and capable Accounts Payable Officer with a proven track record working in a similar high-volume role. You take ownership of tasks and pride in ensuring the work you do is accurate and completed in a timely matter.
To be successful in this role, your skills, qualifications. experience is likely to include:
11. Experience with Databuild and Ezyscan
12. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
13. Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
14. Solid understanding of accounts payable control principles.
15. Strong team player.

17. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
