Our client is currently seeking an experienced APS 5/6 Executive Assistant to join their team on a labour hire basis for an initial engagement of up to 6 months, with the possibility of a longer-term role, depending on the appointment of their new CEO. While there is potential for permanency, the immediate focus is on filling this critical gap. About the Role: Location: Phillip, Canberra (free parking available) Flexible working arrangements: A mix of Work From Home and in-office options, negotiable. Position: Full-time Hourly rate: $55 - $70 per hour plus super Security clearance: None required This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior executives, providing high-level executive support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will manage multiple competing priorities and handle sensitive, confidential matters with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Organise and manage complex diaries for the CEO and Senior Executive Service officers. Coordinate high-level meetings and travel arrangements. Draft briefs, reports, and communications for senior executives. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients, managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence. Provide executive support and perform secretariat duties for committees as needed. About You: We're looking for someone with: Previous Executive Assistant experience at the APS 5 or APS 6 level. Strong organisational and communication skills. A proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity. An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and a commitment to supporting First Nations peoples.
