These roles present an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative teaching, research and work integrated learning in Psychology, support the University’s commitment to student success and academic excellence. We are particularly seeking candidates who hold registration as a psychologist and have experience delivering both undergraduate and postgraduate psychology education and delivering high-quality learning experiences. Your core responsibilities will include:Delivering innovative, learner-centred teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology programs.Developing and coordinating units and courses that align with accreditation requirementsEngaging in impactful scholarship of teaching or research and supervising Honours and Higher Degree Research studentsCollaborating with industry, professional bodies, and community stakeholders to enhance student learning and career outcomes.About youYou will be an enthusiastic and driven academic, ready to contribute to SCU’s growing Psychology discipline. More specifically, you will have:A PhD in PsychologyRegistration as a psychologist with AHPRA and practice experience is desirableProven excellence in teaching and curriculum development in PsychologyExperience in blended and online learning environmentsA research or teaching scholarship track record relevant to level, including where possible publications in high-quality journals and supervision of honours/higher degree research candidatesIn addition, for a level C Senior Lecturer or Level D Associate Professor:Leadership experience in teaching, research, and/or professional practice, and experience leading design, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and resources that support and enhance the effectiveness of student learning.Salary and benefitsOur staff benefit from flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models, generous parental and carer’s leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs and professional learning opportunities. These positions are:Two full-time continuing (permanent) and one fixed-term (2 years) 80% roleLocated at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, or Gold Coast, QLD 4225 with generous relocation support available.Academic Level B, C, or D. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.Academic Level B: $110,611 - $130,814 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $153,052.Academic Level C: $134,848 - $155,046 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $181,403.Academic Level D: $161,784 - $177,948 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation.
