We're looking for a Network Engineer to be responsible for undertaking the deployment, management, and maintenance of a range of networking and cyber-security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking technologies.These Activities Will IncludeTechnical Expertise: Plan, deploy, and configure networking and cybersecurity systems, including next-generation firewall (NGFW) technologies to optimise the ability to monitor, detect, prevent, and quickly respond to cybersecurity threats.Network Configuration: Provide expert advice and undertake configuration of networking equipment and systems to strengthen the posture of research networks.Collaboration: Work as part of the project team to configure and install new network switch hardware and support network segmentation initiatives.Support Network Infrastructure and Security: Work as part of the BAU team to support business-as-usual operations of network infrastructure and network security services including responding to incidents and faults.About ArazaOur organisation works with Australia's largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.

Contributes to the availability management process and its operation.
Performs defined availability management tasks.
Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels.
Implements arrangements for disaster recovery and documents recovery procedures.
Conducts testing of recovery procedures.IT Infrastructure: Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
Contributes to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance and updates.
Implements agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines.
Uses infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics.
Configures tools and/or creates scripts to automate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of new and changed infrastructure.
Maintains operational procedures and checks that they are executed following agreed standards.
Investigates and enables the resolution of operational issues.
Provides reports and proposals for improvement, to specialists, users, and managers.Problem Management: Investigates problems in systems, processes, and services.
Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.Systems Installation and Removal: Undertakes or supervises complex installations and de-installations of systems or components, including handover to the client.
Develops procedures and standards for installation and handover to maintain and improve the installation service.
Schedules installation work around client priorities and resource availability.
