About the Role
As a Welder/Fabricator on the production team, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of mild steel products and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fabricating required parts, utilising MIG welding techniques, ensuring quality and safety standards, selecting appropriate materials, and collaborating with team members to optimize production processes. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

3. Daytime hours from 7am - 5pm, and a half day on Friday

Key duties and responsibilities
5. Interpret Engineering Drawings: Understand technical specifications and designs to accurately guide your work.
6. Welding and Fabrication: Utilise MIG welding and fabrication processes on various products and equipment, ensuring precision and quality.
7. Oxy Cutting: Perform oxy-fuel cutting as required for specific tasks.
8. Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure all work meets established quality and safety standards, following best practices.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all work completed, documenting processes and outcomes
About You
10. Relevant Trade Qualification or industry experience
11. Demonstrated experience with MIG Welding and oxy cutting
12. Ability to read and interpret blueprints
13. Able to read and understand welding procedures
14. A commitment to following standard work practices
15. Pride in the quality of your work
16. The ability to work without supervision
