Description Wood is currently looking for Boilermakers for a short-term project at Phosphate Hill, Queensland, commencing on 5th May. The successful candidates will have experience in heavy industry maintenance/shutdowns, with a strong commitment to safety, proven teamwork and the ability to work autonomously when required. Rotation/Work Pattern: Seven (7) weeks total, consisting of two FIFO cycles of 3:1 and 3. This is a good short-term opportunity to earn EXCELLENT RATES and includes flights, accommodation, all meals. Flights are out of Brisbane or Townsville. At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region. Experience Previous heavy industry maintenance experience is essential Minimum 5 years' post qualification experience in heavy industry. Skills/Qualifications Trade qualified Boilermaker Must have current Confined Space ticket – validity two (2) years from date of issue OR be prepared to update before deployment You will be available for a Wood medical ASAP Successful completion of a plate welding test will be a requirement (5mm – 20mm plate).
