Position Summary:
* Responsible for managing the planning, execution & coordination of all the hotel’s events, internal functions and social events
* Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
* Greets customer during the event phase and hands-off to the Event Operations team for the execution of details.
* Create detailed Banquet Event Orders that are tailored to client requirements
* Work closely with the sales team to maximise all potential business leads
* Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event).
* Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.
* Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.
* Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
* Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, engaging and inspiring guests with each customer experience
* Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team
* Ensure you uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.
* Liaise with stakeholders, clients and other associates as the main point of contact for events & functions
