The Role
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to centralised ordering. This role involves analysing procurement data, optimising supply chain processes, and ensuring efficient and effective ordering systems. The analyst will work closely with store teams and key suppliers to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and requirements.
The role is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Analyse data to provide insights for supply chain efficiency management.
* Develop and implement centralised ordering systems to streamline procurement processes.
* Lead the rollout of new operational processes, including development and delivery of training to ensure successful field adoption
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and IT, to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business objectives.
* Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
* Facilitate the resolution of supply issues or disruptions with vendors and coordinate outcomes with internal stakeholders.
* Maintain and update relevant databases.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and reduce costs.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and social responsibility standards in supply chain operations.
About You
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in excel a must
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent time management and planning skills with attention to detail
* Proven record of completing project deliverables on time and in full
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
